Beetlejuice

Running some last minute errands before leaving this cold and grey Amsterdam. Might as well make the best of it by layering some of my faves.

DIY XMas Gift; Sugar 'n Spice Body Scrub

I have been making my own scrub for a while now and I find it so nice and easy. Last year I even hosted a DIY scrub party ("here") because there are so many ingredients to choose from! For the holiday spirit I made a Sugar 'n Spice one which smells so yumm!
What you need;
-Sugar (about a cup)
-Oil (I use almond oil, but you could use any nut oil or jojoba)
-Essence (I use Vanilla)
-Optional; Spices like Cinnamon
1. Add all ingredients to a jar
2. Make sure the dry and the oil ingredients are mix, especially at the bottom of the jar.
3. Pour oil till mixed well and a layer of oil stays on top of the sugar.
Et Voila! Your own Sugar 'n Spice Scrub!

DIY Xmas Gifts; Spa in a Washcloth

Very easy gift to make and it smells so good while making it!
The sea salt will dissolve in the hot water while showering, giving you a gentle scrub and the herbs or flowers like lavender will relax body and mind after a cold winter day.
What you need;
-Washcloths
-Needle & thread
-Sea salt
-Herbs or dried flowers of choice (I went with lavender and a mix of rose and herbs)
1. Scoop the sea salt and the herbs into the washcloth
2. Sew it shut
Et Voila! A spa in a washcloth!
Note: after using it the first time it will harden up as it dries, before using it again wash till softened or till the salt crystals dissolve.
